I ordered 1946 because I feel I am also DEDICATED and i feel a need to be DEDICATED but UK1 and 2 have changed the game version leaving alot of our buddies behind. As a former Sgt of US Marines I know never to leave a buddie behind. I soon will be on the servers to fly 1946 but I hate to think how Uk never gave anyone a chance to keep up.

...I hate to think how Uk never gave anyone a chance to keep up.I don't know, we didn't update UKD2 to 4.07 until the 20th (five days after 1946's release) and UKD1 was only updated on the 28th (thirteen days after 1946's release). From other forums I'm aware that members of the IL2 community situated in North America had begun receiving 1946 over a week ago, besides UKD1 had become noticably quieter until we updated it. Unfortunately we can't please everyone all of the time. I hope you get your hands on it soon :)

If it were upto me then we would have uk1 running 4.04m still (To give those a chance to catch up ...), But the guys wanted it updating .... its just a shame that different parts of the world have different release dates etc. I'm pretty sure it will be worth the wait :)

I am the only syndicate member flying UK1 from north America, and I am also waiting for my 1946 since I pre-ordered it to NWS on December 13 ! When a proposal was made within the syndicate to upgrade UK1 to 4.07, I could have objected on the ground that most of us in Americas did not have 1946 yet.

On the other hand, many new owners of 1946 around the world were/are exploring servers running 4.07, hence it seems that this is a great opportunity to showcase our great servers to unfamiliar players. My feeling was, and is, those who really like UK ded servers will buy 4.07 from GoGamers or NWS any way. Thus, in a long run, our community in north America may benefit by bringing in new players at this time. That was my line of thought.... assuming that I would receive my 1946 soon after Dec.25.

To be honest with you, my holiday plan was totally ruined by slow shipment of 1946, and I feel your pain. But we will regroup in UK1 with 4.07 at hand sooner or later, let's be patient.....
