Whooo!!!

So people what exactly is it you love most about this game. I know it is difficult to decide because you love everything! For me it is the little details such as men fleeing their trucks when you are strafing them or having you rear gunner killed by enemy fire.

I did think that, leaving MP aside, B-17 would take some beating as a WWII sim. Know the two games aren't exactly comparable, but IL2 is the bee's knees.

Looks stunning from every angle whether its reflections on the rivers, watching your bullet strikes as you strafe a convoy, the constant chit chat, in Russian or German over your radios, the options for easing yourself into the game and so on.

Granted there is still a bit of "stutter" when playing even with the new patch, but gameplay and atmosphere do make it a bearable burdon and I'm sure it will be fixed shortly.

As with B-17 I think its a rare flight sim that even the relative novice or occiasional simmer should have no problems jumping into and if they like the idea of realistic flight sims but are put off by the complexity of something like Falcon 4, then this is the sim to try out. Action by the bucketload, stacks of options and cracking multiplayer action.

In short, me likes.
