This has nothing to do with flight sims but I wated to tell you anyway.

I live about 15 miles from Southport, where they had their annual airshow on Sunday.

Well, I was at home and I heard a plane over head, and it was very loud. I looked out the window to see people standing in the street looking up.
I went outside and saw a Spitfire doing loops over my house:cool:

It was there for about 15 minutes just flying in circles and it was only about 100 foot in the air.

Funny really because I saw the same plane on the news about an hour earlier with a Hurrican and a Lancaster Bomber.

Sorry for dragging this up from the depths of the forum!

Over the weekend Concord flew over my house! I'm not sure whether it was leaving Bournemouth or arriving at Southampton? I know that Hurn Airport has had Concord there over the years, not sure about Southampton.

Fingers crossed that BA continue to keep some of their aircraft flying for airshows :)

I am expecting it to fly into Liverpool at some point because its doing a round the country farewell tour.

Concorde actually needs long runway, which Liverpool airport has, so it can only go to certain airports.

I did see one of those Globemaster transports flying over the city a few weeks back and it was very low so I got a good long at it.
