Is it arcadish or a simulation of some sort (realistic physics etc..), I might give it a shot if it's the latter.

got my code too.... if only i could download the file-> file stops after 30 Mb -.-
Got me beta key too... but i'm busy with some stuff (new job, new home), and i don't know if i'll be able to test it.
I read the "arena" is only one squre kilometer, that correct? If so, how do I take advantage of my superior firing range that allows accurate hits at a distance of 3km??
And what about ramming attacks? Never heard of those before.
The maps are small at this stage, though I think I read they may be getting bigger. Certainly there will be more tanks on each side when the game goes gold.
You can ram lighter tanks to cause damage.
I tried briefly last night....up till 12am, 5hrs sleep ughhhh
But I got 1 kill and got killed numerous times but you all have to band together and lots of teamwork its a hoot
I like it so far
Cheers!

I've done about a dozen or so battles and i must admit i definitely see the attraction now. It's very arcade game but fun, quite logical and not too twitch based. Still rocking the recruit battles with my Panzer II, they call me the VicePresident.
Also you can drive and shoot TANKS!
It's tremendous fun. Soon they'll be adding clan matches too, along with more 'factions' - the British, the US, the Japanese and so on.
The only part I dislike is the 30 seconds wait for battle to commence.
Also, just in case anyone hasn't realised: you don't have to wait for a battle to finish. Once you've popped your clogs, you can exit battle and bounce into another tank. The other will appear to be 'still in battle'. I keep a roster of 3/4 tanks I'm upgrading and switch between them all, which sadly indicates how quickly I get busted most games![]()
I am not as thrilled.
The bottomline is: the big tank will win. It takes a buddhist monk to get that far. The gameplay lacks complexity (the big tank will win). If there is no big tank around, artillery will win.
Technically a good game (even more so seeing it is closed beta). But it could be so much better.
Once you get past the training battles, the artillery never wins.
It is hard work at first, no doubt about it. But if you play smart, you can do allright. Personally, I can't do smarts, so I just play a lot![]()
I still didn't receive my beta key :/
How long ago did you apply? You can still find some online in giveaways.
